Packing List

PACK LIGHTLY!!!

  • A couple pairs of pants
    • Dark clothes show fewer wrinkles/stains
    • We'll be washing clothes in a sink, so stuff that dries quickly is nice.
  • Some shirts
    • Layers are good
    • Try to bring clothes that all match with each other
    • Have a combo that would work for a nice dinner.
    • "If you won't wear it at least 3 times, don't bring it." - Rick Steves
  • Comfy shoes (up to 2 pairs)
    • Not white sneakers.
  • Power outlet adapters
  • Chargers for electronic things
  • Backpack/Messenger Bag of some kind
  • Camera
  • Sweater/Light jacket
  • Scarf (for the ladies this can really dress up an outfit if need be)
  • Swimsuit - you never know.
  • Hat/sunglasses
  • Hand sanitizer
  • Essential toiletries
  • Nail clippers
  • Passport (wouldn't hurt to bring a photocopy of it too)
  • Clothesline
  • Ipad/Ipod stocked with music and movies if desired
  • Headphones
  • Socks & undies
  • Jammies

For the Ladies:
  • Lip balm or chapstick
  • Small hand lotion for your day bag (lips and hands really dry out during travel)
  • Small pack of wet wipes for long flights, a refreshing face wipe after 12 hours in-flight is lovely
  • Depending on the weather, light gloves for crisp mornings and evenings
  • Bare shoulders are not allowed in many churches, limit the number of tank tops, or have a scarf/cardigan to cover up if need be.

Two examples of good clothing choices, warm yet not too casual, nice layering with maximum movement and comfort.  It will not be as cold, yet laying will still be relevant.

Smoking pipe and full gold-plated outfit optional.
